A Journey Through the Divine Feminine – Powered by Omvity

Step into the spiritual energy of Kashi through nine sacred Devi temples, each reflecting one of the powerful Navdurga forms.
Walk, reflect, and immerse in the Shakti path with chants, stories, and sacred silences.
This guided yatra spans 4-5 hours combining TukTuk transport and approximately 4 km of walking, visiting temples dedicated to the nine forms of Goddess Durga.
The tour begins early morning at Shree Ganesha Palace in Godowlia and concludes at Kaal Raatri Mata Mandir.
Each temple stop features darshan, prasad arrangements, and storytelling about the divine feminine.
The yatra is ideal for devotees, spiritual seekers, women-led groups, and yogis seeking deeper connection with the goddess energy.
Highlights
The day, hour by hour
6:00 AM
Shree Ganesha Palace (Godowlia). Your Omvity Guide will greet you and introduce the Navdurga concept before beginning the yatra.
Durga Kund, Assi. Begin with the fierce protector form of Maa Durga. A historic temple known for its striking red structure and pond. First stop via TukTuk.
Near Varanasi City Station. The first form of Navdurga — daughter of the Himalayas. Symbol of strength and grounding. TukTuk ride across town.
Jaitpura. Invoked as the tiger-riding warrior goddess, a fierce energy that wards off evil and fear. Short ride, then walk resumes.
Golghar, Maidagin. Goddess of wisdom and supernatural abilities, this serene temple brings calm before deeper introspection. Walking starts here.
Near Kashi Vishwanath Lane. The goddess of food and abundance — deeply respected and spiritually charged. No photos allowed. Special darshan on Saptami.
Local shrine near Chowk. Represents devotion, tapasya, and self-discipline. A peaceful stop for inner reflection.
Location confirmed locally (between Maidagin and Vishwanath Gali). The goddess whose forehead bears a half-moon bell. Known to destroy evil through vibration and calmness.
Likely Visheshwarganj or nearby locality. Fierce warrior form who killed Mahishasura. Embodies the power of righteous anger.
Near Manikarnika or hidden gully between Vishwanath and Meer Ghat. Ends the yatra with the most intense and fearsome form of Durga. Dispeller of darkness, liberator of the soul.
