1. Booking & confirmation

A booking is confirmed when we have received a 50% advance payment and you have received a written confirmation voucher from us. The remaining 50% is due no later than 30 days before departure unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Pricing

Prices on the website are indicative and per person on twin sharing unless stated. The final quote we send you is the binding price. All prices are inclusive of taxes unless GST is called out separately.

3. What we are responsible for

We are responsible for the services explicitly listed in your confirmation voucher — accommodation, transport, guides, ritual arrangements, etc. We exercise diligence in selecting third-party suppliers (hotels, drivers, airlines).

4. What we are not responsible for

Force majeure events; loss or damage to personal belongings; medical emergencies (we strongly recommend travel insurance); any service or cost not explicitly listed in your voucher.

5. Conduct

We reserve the right to terminate a trip without refund where guest behaviour endangers other guests, our staff or the integrity of a ritual. This has happened twice in our history; we mention it for the sake of completeness.

6. Photography

Some sites and rituals do not permit photography. Your guide will brief you. Where photography is possible, we may ask permission to use a small selection of trip images on our Journal — you can opt out at any time.

8. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
